Hey guys, I thought it might be a good idea to have a place to post questions that we can answer for each other. What do you think?
So, here goes:
Question: I'm still not quite clear on the difference between feudalism and manoralism-Is it just that feudalism involved an entire web of loyalty...and manoralism only involved a leader and some serfs? Thanks! Answer: 'Feudalism' describes the political arrangement, 'manorialism' describes the economic arrangement. The analogy for present day America might be - politically we are a republic, economically we are capitalist. Both, though, describe us.
Probably best to do questions and answers on FirstClass. Message boards are more suited to that kind of thing.
